Thermoview is a Red Deer, Alberta based company that was formed in early 2003. It consists of a level one thermographer with a strong background in equipment processes and operation and a level two thermographer with 20 years experience as an industrial journeyman electrician with a predictive maintenance background.
We have performed thermal inspections (infrared) for a wide variety of companies with very diverse applications, the emphasis being on electrical and rotating equipment. The objective of these inspections is to aid our clients in the prevention of downtime and equipment damage and help reduce the risk of fires. We are also involved in some specialized applications of thermal imaging that are groundbreaking in the industry and are now possible with our new advanced equipment.
Thermoview has also been involved in building envelope and moisture studies on several hospitals and schools, as well as various commercial and residential buildings throughout central Alberta. We have helped our clients resolve warranty issues involving equipment and building envelope integrity issues.
Thermoview is an independent professional consulting firm. The information we provide is thorough, accurate, and unbiased. We do not repair or replace materials, and we do not recommend or specify any manufacturer’s products. Our intent is to provide the customer with the highest quality information about the true conditions of the items specified in our reports.
We are fully insured with a strong commitment to safety and carry valid H2S and PSC (petroleum safety course) certificates. We carry our own WCB and follow an ongoing safety program following such guidelines as the Canadian Electrical Code, NFPA 70-E, OH & S and have developed our own safety requirements with regards to thermal imaging. We just received confirmation of having successfully completed all of the necessary steps to receive our COR (Certificate of Recognition) certificate. Appropriate validation of the above mentioned information available upon request.
